Editors' Take

Bring your old clothes and trade them for some new duds: a measly $5 entry gets you free vodka, free coffee, and free clothes! Buzzzzzzzz.

Where: The Phritzery (170-172 Clara St between 4th & 5th and Folsom & Harrison) map
How much: $5 ($10 without clothes)
What's up: You know the drill (but if you don't, check the FAQ): bring your clothes, your friend's clothes, your roommate's clothes, whatever gently worn clothes you want to bring. Bring all the clothes that you haven't worn in the last three months- give someone else a turn while you pick out a new wardrobe.

  • Free clothes to try on and take home!

Either, really- I got a hand-tailored suit a couple swaps back. Bring pretty much anything you want so long as it's clean and only gently used.

I've never heard of anyone having a problem finding something they wanted. We had almost 200 people at the last swap, each bringing at least a bag of clothes, so there was a lot to choose from. One thing you can do is bring along friends who wear clothes you like...

Worst case scenario, though, if you're the first person to not find anything they want, you get to check out breakbeats by poolboy (we change up our lineups- last time we had glitch hop), and have a free drink while hanging out in a cool space with cool people, and you get your clothes donated to local charities- for $5.

Are we talking Old Navy clothes or Neiman Markus? Or what if you drop off you stuff at the door and you can't find a single thing you want inside?
  5. Post in Ladyland please!
