You probably knew SF's got hidden staircases--but did you know we have hidden slides? Hurtle down these concrete chutes on half a pizza box and just try to keep your Sunday brunch in your stomach.
Always on the prowl for good cheap thrills, I was stoked when I heard about these alleged concrete slides tucked away in the Castro hills. They were difficult as hell to find, but as you go sailing down on half a pizza box, little boys pushing past you and screaming "DIE!!!" as they nose dive down the hatch, it dawns on you that the hike and the confusion were totally worth it.
Hint: Seward is just off Douglass between 19th and 20th.
Hint #2: After bottomless mimosa brunch at Lime, the slides are the icing on your Sunday funday cake. Yummy.
