Nexus Mobile Dance Party (Event Over)
- When:Sat 12/15/07 (11PM)
- Cost: $10 Donation
I know this is last minute but you should come anyway because it's
going to rule.
In the belly of the 60ft Metro Transit Bus we will be dropping a system far to big for it's audience and unleashing an auditory onslaught by the following professional purveyors of slamming ass techno/electro/house madness:
12-1 COMMA (only plays songs that rule)
1-2 MR. PROJECTILE (makes music that people buy)
2-3 MOZAIC (has been DJing for over 52 years)
3-4 LIL JOHN (has been rocking parties since Mozaic was in kindergarten)
4-5 NISUS (is so excited about the music he plays you are to)
And in the Frito Lay Bass Box we will be dropping an equally oversized system with a seasoned roster of rockers to rage your party hole.
1-2 CARBON COMMUNITY (makes music using his own carbon molecules)
2-3 STRIDAH (has done unspeakable things to subwoofers around the country)
3-4 EPROM (Nexus Fan Club Presidential pick of 07 award winner)
4-5 special downtempo SLIDECAMP set (the specialist kind of special guaranteed)
We will be extending the dancefloor out the back of the truck and lining the space with a few space heaters to keep you little muffin cakes warm.
I know this whole thing sounds insane, which it is, but we've done it before and its always totally friggin rad so get on the bus, rock the box, shut the hell up, and have fun!
C U tonight @ trader joes parking lot downtown santa cruz first wave leaves at 11:30 en route to super psychedelic disco land.
If you must take your own vehicle please put as many people in it as you can because we can't have too many cars where we're going or else someone might come and make us keep on going, which technically isn't the end of the world since it is the Guerilla MOBILE disco BUT it's kind of nice to just chill once everything is all set up. anyway, CARPOOL!
$10 donation to make it happen (I know it all just seems like it's powered by love but there's a few other inputs necessary and everyone is always charging us money for them so we've decided to go ahead and pass that cost onto the consumer, which in this case is you)
