Local oysters, cool wines and snacks in the backyard are just a prelude to this California Table slow-food event, which will really get swinging when the grower from foodie-paradise Frog Hollow Farm shows up to teach you about stone fruit. Stone-fruit dessert included, of course.
It's time to Get Fruity with California Table! With summer's
sweet jewels right at hand, join us on the eve of this Summer
Solstice and sample, learn, and hang out with Farmer Al from Frog
Hollow Farm. We'll start out with local oysters, refreshing
wines, and snacks to enjoy in the backyard of our Bernal
space. Farmer Al will then share with us his wealth of
knowledge on sustainable and
organic farming. He's bringing plenty of samples in so we can all try his
amazing peaches, apricots, and other fresh-picked surprises.
Farmer Al is extremely passionate about what he does and loves to
teach and share with everyone.
There will be a variety of delicious desserts California Table has
baked especially for you using Frog Hollow's fruits to enjoy that
evening and to take home.
