ALL-STAR REGGAE BENEFIT FOR ROBERT RANKIN SF (Event Over)

We are sending out love and prayers for a quick recovery to our friend and local dj, ROBERT RANKIN’. Robert is currently hospitalized and needs our support through his long recovery.





Known as "the professor of reggae", Robert Rankin’ has blessed the bay area airwaves for over two decades, first on KFJC and since the late 80s, on KKUP 91.5 fm Cupertino. His show ‘Solid Foundation’, on every Friday night from 6-9pm, features roots reggae with a purpose & rich interviews with every reggae artist who’s passed through Cali in the last 20 years. He has won multiple awards over the years for his stellar programming & endless knowledge of the music we all love. Robert’s sound system, Massive Sound International, has been a pillar in the reggae community for decades, spinning everything we want to hear & more, at some of California’s best-known festivals & concerts.





In addition to being a great selector, Robert is a cherished friend of many who love his passion, kind heart and warm smile. We all want him to recover quickly. Several benefit shows are being put together to help out our friend. All proceeds will go directly to Robert's recovery so come out and enjoy some great live reggae music and help out in this time of need.
