Fool for Love (Event Over)

By Sam Shepard. Set in a motel on the edge of the Mojave Desert.The story of longtime lovers Eddie and May, whose relationship wavers between the extremes of obsessive love and hatred. Eddie has returned from a recent sexual escapade and hopes that May will run away with him. However, May rejects his proposal and pushes him away, while at the same time wanting him back. Their relationship is utterly dysfunctional and their history is too long for either of them just to walk away from each other.
