On Friday, December 5th, Rock It Science, Turnaround-Sound &
Prismatic Tracks are proud to bring you the closing edition of
Finally @ Pink. That’s right, it’s time for Finally to
say goodbye, but not before we close things out with our biggest
headliner yet, Chicago’s one and only Roy Davis Jr!
Roy Davis Jr.’s soulful grooves quench thirsty fans like
communal wine. The spiritual tracks produced by this legendary
disciple of Chicago's house music scene have received massive radio
and club play around the globe. Roy describes his style as "Soul
Electrica," a hybrid of soul and electronic music. His masterful
weave of R&B with floor-stomping dance tunes has created
classic club anthems, making Davis one of the most sought-after DJs
in the world.
Born and raised in Brooklyn and currently residing in San
Francisco, Sen-Sei is the definition of live house music, traveling
to every gig with synthesizer in tow. This keyboard player of 28
years has made his unique mark on the house world through jamming
his live chops and synthesis over some of the top DJs in the world.
Not a DJ but a true live electronic musician, Sen-Sei’s
presence on stage is not to be missed. A master of blending in with
different music styles, Sen-Sei has performed live on keys with
world renowned DJs such as Doc Martin, Miguel Migs, Mark Farina,
D:Fuse, Halo, Hipp-E, Julius Papp, Patrick Turner, Jay Tripwire,
Garth, Jeno, Andrew Phelan, Jesse Brooks, David Coleman, Tony
Thomas, and DJ Hal.
Since moving from Chicago in 2001, Andrew Phelan has quickly made
his mark on San Francisco. From regular appearances at the
city’s top clubs, to his extremely popular Tonal afterhours
parties, Andrew can be heard laying down his infectious mix of
deep, soulful, funky, and tech based house music every week in the
city. As a Thump Radio resident, he has been heard on Alice 97.3 in
SF, KBIG 104.3 in LA, and nationwide on XM Satellite Radio. Just as
comfortable in the studio as behind the decks, Andrew has put out
releases on some of the most respected labels in house, including
Drop Music, Amenti, Eight-Tracks, So Sound, and his own label,
Prismatic Tracks. Working out of SF’s famed Moulton Studios
complex, Andrew can be found working with partner Origami and the
rest of The Fingermonsters on the cutting edge beats that define
San Francisco’s next generation.
Eric Sharp’s ascent to the forefront of San Francisco’s
dance music scene can only be described as meteoric. From working
countless dance floors into frenzies at clubs, bars, and parties
across the West Coast to producing some of San Francisco’s
most epic parties with his crew Rock It Science, Eric’s
seemingly endless energy and dedication is simply contagious. One
of the most versatile dj’s around, Eric Sharp is known to
play anything from Deep and Funky House to Dirty Acid Techno to
pumping Chicago beats to Baile Funk to Baltimore Club Jams to
Wobbly Fidget House to French & Italian Electro and everything
in between.
