The San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition offers the ultimate indulgence at their annual Public Tasting, held at Fort Mason Center’s Festival Pavilion in the City by the Bay. Recognized as the largest competition of American wines in the world, the SFCWC welcomes individuals ranging from consumers to connoisseurs to sample thousands of acclaimed entries from 300 wineries in 26 states, and enjoy tasty treats provided by gourmet food website, SavorCalifornia.com.
The annual public tasting event combines the glamour and sophistication of wine with the spectacular views of the world renowned Golden Gate Bridge and the San Francisco Bay. Along with the extraordinary wines, delicious fare that includes a variety of cheeses, artisan breads, delicious desserts, and other unique creations from throughout California region will be available.
The beneficiary of the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition annually, is the Santa Rosa Junior College Wine Studies Program and Culinary Arts Program. This competition salutes these two programs for their educational excellence in the wine studies and culinary arts.
