LovEvolution 2009 (formerly LoveParade LoveFest) (Event Over)

San Francisco LovEvolution is not your ordinary parade. Instead of standing on the sidelines watching it go by, everyone is encouraged to dance (safely) in the streets with the floats as the parade moves by. This year, the parade and festival takes place on Saturday, October 3rd.

Though we have always been blessed with October sunshine, our event is rain or shine, and not even a little rain can rain on this parade. San Francisco's weather is notoriously unpredictable, and it might rain at the airport, and be beautiful in the city center. So come dressed for anything, and use the occasion to dress with a dash of color and delight.

PLEASE DO NOT LITTER. If we trash the city, we won't be able to hold this event. Please be conscientious (and not lazy), find a trash can - there will be plenty! urge others you see littering to do the same. We urge you to keep our beautiful city CLEAN and help keep our landfills as clear as possible. Many trash cans have recycling cages (for plastics, aluminum, and glass). Be sure to find these cans and use them!

We want a safe and fun vibe that maintains community cohesion. Stay conscious, look out for each other, think about the big picture and not just your own impulses of the moment. Show love, but have respect for boundaries and personal space. Our own vibe patrol will be out to make sure the fun stays fun. Be your greatest self.

• Floats will stage on 2nd st between Market and Howard streets Float and press check in will be at 111 Minna beginning at 10:30am. Floats to check in no later than 11am
• Floats check in at 111 Minna. It is open to the public and all 21+ are encouraged to come in.
• Music starts @ 11:30am, parade begins ~12 Noon!
• There will be a $10 entrance fee this year.
