The Insiders are a pair of D&B producers hailing from the bottomless
cauldron of creativity that is Bristol, England. For nearly a
decade The Insiders have been consistently crafting a solid
reputation from the deeper side of D&B with releases on elite
imprints such as
Metalheadz, Creative Source, 31 Records, Renegade Recordings, and
Good Looking, while also running the endlessly successful Intrigue club-nights
and record label in their hometown of Bristol. In a city known for
its integral contribution to jungle and D&B,
Intrigue has spent the last six years proudly burning the torch for the
more thoughtful, progressive strains of the sound with endless
erudition and unshakable intent. But despite this impressive
heritage, for The Insiders, it really is all about the present!
2009 has already seen a slew of critically-acclaimed releases from
their freshly-instigated Intrigue record label, a massive launch
party at Bristol’s Motion skate park, and the release on
vinyl of some of their best studio work to date. All this on top of
regularly DJing across the UK and, of course, at the monthly
packed-out Intrigue club nights, as well as keeping busy in the
studio collaborating with like-minded producers such as Survival,
Saburuko and Mutt. With new releases such as ‘Stepdub,’
‘Disconnected’ and the mighty ‘Meltdown’
causing all kinds of mischief on dancefloors across the globe, and
with more Intrigue releases lined up for the rest of the year; now
is most definitely the time for The Insiders. With that said, make
sure to catch The Insiders @ IN2IT in their first San Francisco
appearance ever! Gonna be another night for the history
