Annual walk to celebrate cancer survivors and honor those who lost their battle.
San Francisco’s 9th annual Light the Night Walk [ www.lightthenight.org ] to benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society will take place Thursday, October 22. Light The Night Walk events are evenings filled with inspiration. Participants carry colored, illuminated balloons - white for survivors, red for supporters and gold in memory of loved ones lost to cancer. Together, thousands of men, women and children bring light to the dark world of cancer and provide a powerful demonstration of hope for the community.
