Bebel Gilberto (Event Over)

Bebel Gilberto's debut CD, "Tanto Tempo", became a world-wide phenomenon, selling a million copies around the globe and captivating audiences with its mix of classic bossa nova updated with cool electronica. Known for her adventurous blends of Brazilian, European and electronic pop styles, Bebel Gilberto continues to blur musical boundaries with every performance. Sensual rhythms of her native country dominate the New York-born Brazilian vocalist's work.  Many of her songs are rendered beautifully in Portuguese and dazzle with sensitive instrumentation, folding in strings and woodwinds. Her latest album, "All In One" was released this August and includes contributions from Brazilian Girls' Didi Gutman, producers Mark Ronson and Carlinhos Brown and the Dap Kings.
