Get ready to bow your heads to the roughest styles of electronic music at the most classic venue in San Francisco!!! PLUS a Party Bus! PLUS a fatty Live Art Production!

MACHINEDRUM [NYC] - hip hop accentuated by mutant drum patterns, dense IDM style melodies, and MCs freed in the digital world to slip-up and double-back on their rhymes. Travis Stewart's first release as Machinedrum was entitled Now You Know. He was instantly in competition with Prefuse 73 as the new era of electronic hip hop, initially started by the likes of Gescom & Push Button Objects.

Travis helped launch Merck Records and is also the owner of New York-based Normrex Records. He has also sold rights to some of his music to Adult Swim for tracks played during some of their program interludes.

His debut album was released under one of his aliases, Syndrone. The style of which could best be described as tracking Autechre stylized glitch but adding a bit of venous melody. Syndrone's debut, Triskaideka started off small but within a matter of years sold out of 1,000 copies and was soon licensed by a respected European IDM label called Djak-Up-Bitch.

Machinedrum employs the use of a Tracker in the early stages of his production process. Specifically, he uses Schism Tracker. Further, Stewart uses Ableton Live for sequencing. Both programs are run on the Mac OS X platform.

MOZAIC - DJ/vocalist/producer .... On any given weekend, if he's not behind the decks (he played over 100 gigs during 2008), you'll likely find him on the dancefloor, which is what makes the 10-year veteran a dancer's DJ. Mozaic has built a reputation on solid mixing and fearless genre-hopping: tech-house, techno, broken beat, 2-step, midtempo and dub all find their way into his arsenal- sometimes within a single set. His collaboration with EPROM, HOOKERZ & BLOW, lays waste to dance floors up and down the West Coast with their live dj/laptop sets, and had recent remixes rinsed by everyone from Basement Jaxx to Jesse Rose to Annie Mac.

+

SLEEPYHEAD - delivers music soaking with merciless power making heads swing and asses shake. His party crushing duo with Mimosa, SEXYTIME, presents glitchy and crunky dubs with strong dubstep sub-bass and smooth synth melodies on top. Also collabed with Knowa KnowOne with a self-titled album called KnowSleep.

+

NASTYNASTY - One of the Bay's up-and-coming masters of bass, and on "No Names," he kicks it down with dark bass rumblings, synth blips, and some truly impressive polyrhythmic intensity. Next month sees a new single on Frite Nite, featuring remixes from wonky left field bass producer Slugabed, among others.

+

AUDIOVOID - aka LAYERZ - thick, edgy, and heavily psychedelic; focusing mostly on (but certainly not limited to) breaks and midtempo/glitch-hop oriented sounds. While the "LayerZ" sound is focused heavily on the vibe of dubstep inspired material. However, as the name suggests, it is usually anything but sparse, generally cramming several twisted layers of lush melody, intricate sound design, and unexpected change-ups.

+

BOGLvsDIALS - These Hotpocket DJs will hunt down the finest tracks the internet has to offer and even strong arm you via gchat if given the opportunity. Every set they throw down is almost an educational experience of all that is new, rare, hard, and absolutely filthy.

If you haven't downloaded their infamous mix heard round the globe, do it now and stop missing out on what will have your player on repeat: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=4XF6HFK0

+

SHR3D - One hell of an Electro DJ hailing from Las Vegas, Nevada. He plays shows constantly all over Vegas at all the hot and exclusive parties. He'll turn bars into jumping skin factories, "I play what makes girls dance." We've seen it in person, it's sweaty! sexy! loud! nonstop! and the sun is probably about to rise. Get ready you electro heads, he has just what you want to hear and more!

+

RASTATRONICS - This Santa Cruz based DJ, promoter, and producer has been on the decks since 1998 spinning an eclectic mix of underground electronic music and reggae influenced tracks that gives his sets an exciting and singular sound focused on pushing the dubstep style. A founding member of the Subwize DJ collective and partnered with Bay Area event promoters Raindance and MalLabel Music. Rastatronics never fails to honor your ears with an amazing dance-strong set every time.

+

MIHKAL - Perfecting the art of audio alchemy, MiHKAL approaches his musical creative process as a chemist synthisizing a newfound molecule. Blending an omnitude of genres and tempos into a seamless bass induced euphoria, bringing the light and dark elements into harmony with melodic rhythms intertwined with heavy basslines. Whether serving the crowd a plate of face slapping bass with a side of whomp sauce or raising the vibe with higher frequency melodic soundscapes, he puts intention into his perfomance as a shaman would guiding his ceremony.

CUMULUS - Djing for 8 years and rocking countless underground parties throughout California fearless with his programming and genre-twisting methodology. Cumulus spent several years organizing free, community-based dj events in his hometown of Santa Barbara and became widely acknowledged for his outdoor sunrise sets at the local festivals and camp outs. Always implementing different tempos and styles of downtempo, hip-hop, dubstep, and drum and bass, he keeps the dancefloor hoppin with a smooth, sexy, and very engaging experience. He has performed regularly for several local event production crews such as Evil Breaks, StrategikSF, & The Connoisseur Collective. He holds down a residency at Shine SF for their Mixtape series and is part of the longstanding down tempo & ambient crew "The Ambient Mafia".

ANTIBIOTIK - From the UK to the Bay.. You've heard of diamond in the rough, well this one's a rough among the diamonds. Check out his mix No Dominion. It fuses a plethora of musical influences and tactics into a deceptively smooth listen that seems to be strung from a loom of rockoperatic structure woven with down tempo whomping waves of nostalgia and threads of cleverly plucked samples. Perfectly captures the rainy cozy vibe, but like everything else by this artist, brings a unique and gritty edge to what could otherwise be a drowsy venture into a gray October afternoon.
