Sight & Sound (Event Over)
The AV Club is a collective of Artists and Musicians based in
Chicago and the Bay Area who have come together to provide an
avenue for like minded individuals to express themselves through
live art and music. The purpose of the "Sight & Sound" parties
is to have a cultural exchange between Chicago, the Bay Area, and
the rest of the world.
Our first installment features visuals from Smokie who is a female artist from Chicago via Puerto Rico & New York who now resides in Oakland. Next we Luis Marroquin who is born and raised in Oakland. Finally, we have 12er Sun who hails from Portland, but now also resides in the Town.
On the 1's and 2's we have California's own Shawn Dub who was born and raised in L.A. but moved here after making his prescence known in SoCal.
Finally, making his Bay Area debut from Chicago, IL we have Dj M.t.M(Murry the Magnificent). During the past 10 years in Chicago Dj M.t.M could be seen playing with people such as Ali Shaheed Mohummad, The Beastie Boys, Sean Paul, X-ecutioners, Lupe Fiasco, Digable Planets, and the Bay Area's own Carlos Mena to name a few. Now he is here in the Bay ready to rock for you...
