Bootie house band SMASH-UP DERBY counts down to midnight!
SMASH-UP DERBY , Bootie's award-winning house band, will be doing a special "Greatest Hits" set, and will be counting down to midnight and ringing in 2010 with a pirate balloon drop, champagne toast, and a mashed-up version of "Auld Lang Syne!"

Upstairs in the FAIR USE LOUNGE will be two of our favorite guest DJs -- FREDDY, KING OF PANTS (from Seattle's FrankenBoot & Eagle) and JELLS MAYHEM (from LA's The Illuminoids). Together, they'll be spinning a mix of mashups, electro remixes, and bootlegs.

Every December since 2005, we've released a 20-track album showcasing our favorite mashups from the past year, compiled into one continuous, party-ready mix CD. The "Best of Bootie" albums always become huge internet sensations -- last year's CD garnered overed 5,000 GB of downloads! However, we only release a limited amount of physical CDs on New Years Eve -- and these are the ones that become the collector's items!
