To be or Not to be... Hip Hop or Not??? + -
Who misses the days of the patent leather Jordans?
The reason I added the question about Hip Hop is becasue the genre generally influenced fashion.... The difference from years ago to now is, no one really copied another persons swagg as their own. Most people took what was fashionable and put their own swagg in it to make it fresh. Now a days it seems with the dieing age of real Hip Hop artist that could actually flow with their own style, came the death of Hip Hop fashion. I dont know about you all but im not getting the whole bow tie, blazer, button up shirt, jeans and sneaker look. I was just in seattle and picked up an old skool adidas jogging suit... Black on Black to be exact.. Now what sneakers do you think im going to rock with it? Exactly, some shell toe adidas. Not a pair of air force ones!!!! Come on people.. Anyway shoot me your feedback.

The 10 commandments of style............... + -
1. Every man shalt own at least one suit. Pants should not scrape the ground, jackets need at least hold your waist, and shirt sleeves should not hang down to your knuckels. Keeping it gangsta is one thing, lookin like a wangsta is another.
2. Thou shalt have at least one pair of dress shoes. (Timbs do not qualify)
It’s fine to own Air Force 1's and a fresh pair of Jordans, but the average female likes to see a man get fresh, and 9 times out of 10 the first thing their looking at is whats on your feet. You can't go through life borrowing your homies square toes to hit a dressy event.
3.Thou shalt invest in the right timepiece.
Buy a high-quality stainless-steel watch. It looks as right with jeans as it does with your best blazer. It doesnt have to be a Rolie. Kenneth Cole and Emporio Armani make some fly timepieces that are not to expensive.
4. Thou shalt match your socks with your suit. ( This is Huge)
You cannot wear a clean suit and top it off with tube socks or cheaps cottons with a mess of white lint balls.
When choosing socks, the basic rule is to consider the suit instead of the shoe—in other words, if you’re wearing a navy suit with black shoes, reach for navy socks. And when wearing a light suit, make sure the socks are darker than the suit but a shade or so lighter than the shoes.
5. Remember thy undershirt.
This one’s tricky. If you’re wearing a conventional white broadcloth dress shirt (which means it’s fairly see-through), you have two options: Skip the undershirt all together or go with a wife beater, and you’ll look clean and stylish. If you’re a hairy guy who perspires a lot and you feel safer in an undershirt, wear a nice crewneck shirt. Go easy on the wild colors.
6. Thou shalt put your wallet on a diet.
Your wallet should not be as fat as a burrito. In fact, you should get rid of your wallet and, while you’re at it, trash all the receipts, video cards, and other unnecessary crap that’s stuffed in it. Buy an elegant, slim leather credit card holder and stock it with your essential cards. Then, fold your cash in a money clip.
7. Thou shalt wear brown shoes—with nearly everything.
Black dress shoes are easy—they’re understated and tasteful. Brown dress shoes up the style factor. People notice them. They go best with gray, khaki, or navy. Dark brown shoes are easier to pull off than light brown ones.
8. Thou shalt not wear do-rags when attending functions.
If you can't get your waves tight prior to leaving the house, their not going to look any better once you hit your function. Do-rags are made to be used when you just get that fresh cut, just got out the shower and have added the proper pomade to your hair or when wearing a ball cap and dont want to kill the wave action.
9. Tho shalt take the time to stop-wash-spritz.
Before going to a function or out on a date with that new person you just meet, take the time to freshly cleanse your body. Stop off at the house and get a nice hot shower, if relevant get in a nice clean shave. Spray some nice cologne on your body, not all over your clothes. Dont show up to the spot thinking the shower you had in the am before work is sufficent for the evening.
10. Lastly, and definatly not least.
Get in one last tooth brushing before heading out. Carry with you a binaca spray, listerine strips, altoids or a pack of gum. Dont be the last to know your breath isn't right.

Finally, Michael Jordan has something in common with Damien Hirst: a collaboration with Levi's. The newest offering from his Nike line is dubbed 23/501 and includes 501's, Air Jordan Retro 1 sneakers, and a brushed-cotton T-shirt featuring both brands' logos (above). Available for $395(Damn Mike!!)beginning March 1, the sets will have a limited run of 2,323 (get it?).

How to wear cologne..................................... + -
Step One: First of all, don't settle for aftershave. Sure, it may have some scent to it, but it does not last long, nor is it strong.
Step Two: Hit the right spots; The throat is a major spot to spray some of that cologne. Your body heat will most likely intensify the scent of the cologne, hense allowing others to peep your fresh aroma.
Step Three: Spray with care, being careful not to exceed three sprays of cologne.
Step Four: Spray enough so that people know you're there, not so much that people know you're coming.
Step Five: Re-apply after long periods of time. If you applied cologne in the morning, reapply in mid-afternoon moderatly.
Lastly and most importantly make sure you have had a shower using soap prior to any application of cologne. You dont want to smell like your cologne is there to cover body funk.
