Swing Goth is what happens when rock-a-billy meets goth, and is peppered with a little blues, waltzing and a healthy portion of dirty dancing.
It takes place every Tuesday in the back room of Julie's Supper Club (with special events every 3rd and 5th Saturday)
Don't know how to dance? No problem, there are lessons drop-in, no partner required lessons in Basic Partner Dancing for $5 (or you can buy a membership - one time $5 fee - and get 4 lessons for $10 AND get drink and food discounts for the month for $5 per month).
We get a good crowd of people... sometimes that means there's a
lot, and sometimes that means there's just 20-30, but they're all
fun people-people. It's often best night that I (and purportedly
many others) have all week. But don't take my word for it, check us

Our Manifesto:
Like cats, if you expect us to be one thing, we'll probably be the
other. Like dogs we will never tire of playing together. So, if you
look at us with preconceptions, our stereo may not play your type,
but if you don't adhere to them, then you're ours.
What we do is not strictly "swing" and the music we play is not
limited to "goth." But what is swing and what was goth?
In a world where dance and music evolve through the decades, how is
there only one answer to that quandary? We see no reason to be
strict about or limited by anything. Both swing and goth flew in
the face of convention, so confining ourselves to conformity
wouldn't be true to either.
If you're willing to look beyond the semantics, the only question
that matters is, "
Would you care to dance?"
