Hailed as the world's best club DJ, J.ROCC has enthralled audiences around the globe. His "Rock-A-Party" sets bring together the genres of House, Hip Hop, Funk, Dub and Breakbeats with near-perfect scratches, fades, cuts, beat juggling and musical manipulations. In addition to his personal success, J.ROCC also co-founded the Beat Junkies, a crew of world-famous DJ virtuosos and an unparalleled musical phenomenon that has innovated and elevated the DJ artform. Recently, J.ROCC traveled nationwide with Jurassic 5, Dilated Peoples, MC Supernatural, and the Beat Junkie crew on the highly anticipated "Word of Mouth" tour. In 1998, J.ROCC delivered his turntable brilliance and shared the stage with Hip-Hop phenomenons Talib Kwali and Mos Def during the U.S. Coca Cola tour, which included sold-out shows throughout the country.

About Project Ahimsa 

Project Ahimsa is an internationally-recognized non-profit dedicated to the empowerment of youth through music. Through its grants and instrument donations, Project Ahimsa provides music education to children in poor and under-served areas around the world, particularly those areas affected by violence. Project Ahimsa's goal is to promote non-violence, cultural exchange and the healing power of music so that the lives of at-risk and impoverished children may be improved. The word "ahimsa" means "non-violence" in Sanskrit.
