For the first Listening Lounge of the year we've got something really special. something we've never done before in these last three years. first and foremost, ultimately, Listening Lounge is about good music. period. and our many many of our reignforest lady friends have held us down and accountable to keeping true to this through their support and love over the years. so for the first Listening Lounge of the year we thought we'd give back to our homies by having a ladies only free guestlist and by showcasing the immense amount of musical talent the Bay has to offer on the X-chromosome side of thangs. so to jump start 2010, we're inviting you to "LADIES FIRST"

these two have been innovating their way through the Bay's Hip-Hop scene for quite sometime. its almost like' "finally!" when we got the opportunity to get them on Listening Lounge. the first ever female DJ team to compete in the DMC in its entire 20 year lifespan. they have done much to keep the wheels of the Bay's turntablist heritage moving and growing including their party Skratchpad which was an "open mic" for DJs to flex their chops and just build with each other. they created a true hub for the community. plus: they will be performing their 2 x 4 set at Listening Lounge.

So Timeless has been an instrumental part of building The Listening Lounge for the past 3 years. Originally, Timeless started with a team of about 10 musicians, and now "So Timeless" has grown to become more than double that size. "So Timeless" carries their amazing, original music from an assortment of genres, and also play most popular cover tunes in the same passion as the original artists. These cover tunes range from Stevie Wonder, Bobby Caldwell, Earth Wind and Fire, to today's music from Gnarles Barkley, Musiq SoulChild, Outkast, and Maxwell. "So Timeless" is young, professional, classy, energetic, and a definite crowd favorite!
